Bring On The Fall festivities!!!!

Halloween in just around the corner and, If you are like me you have so many ideas and plans from halloween decorating to baking up spooktacular goodies and creating the perfect Halloween costume for your kids.

However, something has changed in this generation when it comes to how to celebrate Halloween. I remember when I was a kid we made our own costumes from scratch and had costume contest.

In this day and age I think having a Halloween costume contest is pretty much pointless as most people buy them from the store and don't actually come up with the idea themselves.

Furthermore, what happened to the homemade goodies!!!!! The carmel apples, popcorn balls and dirt pudding! With that being said, my goal this October is to
1. Make traditional Halloween goodies.
2. Have my children come up with their own costumes
3. Have the best Halloween party of my life.
And I will document everything right here on my blog in hopes that I can give you good ideas and bring the true spirit of Halloween

I will also try to add cheap Halloween activities around the valley and if anyone wants to add something or tag along your more than welcome.

  4. I can't wait! I LOVE this time of year and it always gets me down how unfestive it is out in AZ during this time. (Compared to NH, where I'm from). I miss the feel of "Fall". I definitely want to try and make it to some of your activities. Thanks for doing this!
